Can we visit your farm?

It is important to know where your food comes from! Visitors are always welcome on our farm! Just call us to schedule a date and time for the farm visit.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes. Contact us on 518-563-5507 for a gift certificate for any item from our Catalog or a gift certificate with a specific dollar amount that the recipient can use towards the purchase on one of our products.
How is your Grass Fed Beef packaged?

Our beef is individually packaged and vacuum sealed in clear heavy weight plastic. This allows extended storage in the freezer. Each package has the cut and weight on the label. Individually packaged beef means that you can easily prepare only what you need. If you need 3 T-bones, take 3 packages of T-Bone out of the freezer.

How long is your grass fed beef aged?

Aging is critical to tenderness and taste. Our beef is dry aged between 14 - 21 days.

How do I cook Grass Fed Beef??

American Grassfed Association posted useful cooking tips for Grass Fed Beef on their website -> http://www.americangrassfed.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Tips-for-Cooking-Grassfed-Beef.pdf

Do you sell organ meats and 100% grass fed beef marrow bones?

Yes, we sell tongue, kidneys, heart, liver and 5 - 8 lb bags of 100% grass fed beef marrow bones. Contact us for pricing and availability!

How much freezer space will I need?

A rule of thumb is one cubic foot of freezer space for each 35-40 pounds of cut and packaged meat.

Is it possible to make changes to the 40 lbs Grass Fed Beef Sampler Package?

Yes, we are flexible. Contact us with your request. Depending on availability, we will substitute certain cuts with others. For example, we've had requests to include more Stew and Ground Beef in the sampler package and others want different cuts included such as Brisket.  We are not able to include more T-Bone, Porterhouse, Sirloin or Ribeye steaks. However, you can substitute any of the cuts with Brisket, Ground Beef, Stew Beef, Flank Steak, Skirt Steak, Hanger Steak and Cross-cut Shanks.

Why buy Animal Welfare Approved Beef?

It is the only USDA approved label that prohibits feedlots. Requires that animals be raised outdoors on pasture or range. Means healthier and safer products for you. Is the top choice for better tasting meat. Promotes animal welfare, supports family farmers, protects the environment and serves conscientious consumers. Has the highest standards for animal welfare, according to the World Society for the Protection of Animals.
